Lady is a real squirrel who was raised by the authors (husband and wife) after a hurricane with the assistance of the local Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Lady was returned to the wild once she was old enough to take care of herself.  Sharing Lady's life provided Iris with some of her fondest memories.

Iris is an accomplished Film and Television Accountant with more than 15 years of experience.  Iris is VP of Production Finance for Premise Entertainment and Ligthship Entertainment.  Her credits include animated feature films including Walt Disney Pictures’ “The Princess and The Frog” and Universal Studios’ “Curious George”; the Emmy Award winning HBO mini-series “From The Earth to the Moon” produced by Tom Hanks; and numerous television shows for the Travel Channel, MTV, ABC and Disney, such as the Emmy Award winning production “The Walt Disney World Christmas Day Parade”.  Iris has a proven record of creating and tracking complex budgets and production schedules while ensuring fiscal discipline is maintained without compromising the creative goals of the project. 

Mike is a CPA and holds his MBA.  Mike has worked and managed Finance Teams for Pepsi, Disney, Starwood Hotels and Starwood Vacation Ownership, to name a few.  He also owned a CPA/tax firm, which he started and grew to over 400 clients.  Mike has written a book on Basic Accounting Principals which will soon be available on his website www.companyprophets.com.  Mike's ablility to understand all types of business and companies, combined with his ability to think outside the box and his unique sense of humor make him an invaluable source for any business team, from Accounting and Finance to Children's Book Publishing.
